Finding something new to focus on within a lockdown was a welcomed challenge in 2021. Crisp afternoons in lockdown brought on a new daily habit of walking around Lake Canobolas near Orange which was just within our 5 km radius. Looping the same track every day was repetitive but taking the time to see something new each time is always rewarding. These leaves were a beautiful spectacle in their pattern of growth and spotted rusty texture.
Shadow box frame made from locally sourced, sustainable Victorian Ash. 3mm museum grade plexiglass. Mounted to 5mm acid free board.
